Hi! 

Welcome to my Itch page! 

I am a person who is passionate about creating games that are not only fun and challenging, but ones that also share meaningful messages with players. I went to university for Game Design and Development, and now I am lucky enough to be teaching it! 

I tend to focus on contemporary social justice issues in my games and projects, as these are topics I care a lot about. My first solo game development project, Obstacles, is a game that highlights these themes, with multiple characters having unique backgrounds and problems they face in their daily lives such as poverty, long-term illness, the foster system, and more. 

When creating games on my own, I try to develop a scope that allows me to work mostly independently and to my skillset. Where I do my best work is with narrative design, character design, sound design, and music.  Programming... not so much! But I am super lucky to have some amazing, talented friends who are able to give me a hand with the tricky stuff. 

I also love to work in teams with like-minded game designers - I thrive when collaborating with an amazing team, and some of my favourite projects I've worked on have been ones I've made with my friends.
